The success stories of many Japanese companies were built during the Showa Era (1926-1989). They were "lost" in the Heisei era, and by extension cannot be the success stories of Japan in the 2022 era. The demographic trends clearly show that Japan's society is currently undergoing dramatic changes on a scale and at a speed never experienced before. On the other hand, it can also be said that an environment is in place for major Japanese companies to undergo major changes over the next five to ten years. The key is human capital.
